1. About Recylyx

Recylyx ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our") is an online marketplace operated by TheJavaScriptShop, a company registered in India. We connect buyers with verified sellers of eco-friendly, vegan, and sustainable products across India. Our platform is accessible at recylyx.com and related mobile applications.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using Recylyx, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our platform. These Terms are governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use this platform. By using Recylyx, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Minors may use the platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Account Registration & Login

We use OTP-based authentication via WhatsApp. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information when registering
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at info@recylyx.com
• Not share your OTP with any third party
• Not create multiple accounts for the same mobile number

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Products & Listings

Recylyx is a marketplace platform. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their product listings. We do not warrant that product descriptions, images, prices, or availability are accurate, complete, or error-free. Recylyx reserves the right to remove any listing that violates our Vendor Guidelines or applicable Indian law.

6. Pricing, Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a RBI-regulated payment aggregator. By placing an order, you:

• Enter into a direct contract with the vendor for the supply of goods
• Acknowledge that Recylyx facilitates the transaction but is not the seller of record
• Agree that prices may change without prior notice until an order is confirmed

Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment. Recylyx reserves the right to cancel any order suspected of fraud or policy violations.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timelines shown are estimates and not guarantees. Shipping is handled by third-party logistics partners. Recylyx is not liable for delays caused by logistics partners, incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or any event beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery.

8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for:

• Damaged or defective items
• Items that are significantly different from the description
• Wrong item delivered

The following are not eligible for return:

• Perishable goods (food, fresh produce)
• Personalised or custom-made items
• Intimate or hygiene products (once opened)
• Digital products or downloadable content

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method after return verification. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was ours. You may cancel an order within 1 hour of placement if it has not been dispatched.

9. Vendor / Seller Terms

Vendors must complete KYC verification with Aadhaar and GST before listing products. Vendors are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of their products. Vendors agree to fulfil orders within the stated timeframes, maintain accurate stock levels, and comply with all applicable Indian laws including the Legal Metrology Act, Food Safety and Standards Act (for food products), and BIS certifications where required.

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian law
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or orders
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Violate any intellectual property rights of Recylyx or third parties
• Engage in price manipulation, fake returns, or chargeback fraud

11. Intellectual Property

All content on Recylyx — including logos, trademarks, text, images, and software — is the property of TheJavaScriptShop or its licensors and is protected under Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We are not responsible for the content, quality, or availability of third-party links on our platform.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Recylyx and TheJavaScriptShop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim in the preceding 6 months.

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Consumer disputes may also be raised through the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
